Jose M. de Mesa is a professor of Applied Systematic Theology at the Inter-Congregational Theological Center. He used to teach at the College of Liberal Arts of the De La Salle University. He obtained his doctorate degree in Religious Studies from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Louvain, Belgium. He has authored several books and academic essays on theology.
