Academicians, students and researchers alike are invited to attend the Manila Studies Association Inc.’s (MSA) 19th Annual Manila Studies Conference on 31 August to 1 September 2010, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at St. Thomas Hall, St. Thomas Building, Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Intramuros, Manila.
With its partners, the National Commission for Culture and Arts-Committee on Historical Research and the Colegio de San Juan de Letran (CSJL), MSA will present Manila studies papers that focus on the history and culture of the Philippines.
Researchers from different organizations are set to present the following papers:

Open forums after each presentation will be presided over by moderators coming from CSJL, as well as by MSA board members such as Bernardita R. Churchill, Marya Svetlana T. Camacho, Lorelei DC. De Viana, Fr. Rolando S. DelaGoza, and Violeta S. Ignacio.
With the P2,000 sharing fee, participants shall receive a conference kit, one complimentary publication, lunch and snacks for the two-day conference.
On the second day, MSA will also launch two of its publications titled Manila 2010 (ed. by Lorelei DC. de Viana) and Manila 2007 and Manila 2008 (ed. by Jose Victor Z. Torres) with the assistance of NCCA.
